In Alice's vision, I see Victoria in the forest right near Forks. Alice's face was completely blank, and I controlled my expression so Angela and Ben won't be wondering what's going on. We still have a secret to protect, the only exception was Bella.
"Alice? Alice!" Angela yelled while moving her hands back and forth in front of Alice's face. I stopped looking at the horror-strucked vision and pretended that it was not a big deal. I didn't need Bella to get worried. I won't let anything happen to her.

I made a casual laugh. Angela and Ben looked at me, but Bella was still staring at Alice. I had tell her that there is nothing to worry about. I moved my foot under the টেবিল and stepped on Alice's foot, but not too hard, just hard enough for her to wake up from her trance. She jumped, startled.
We need to prepare for this. We need to find Victoria as fast as we can before she could find Bella.
I nodded at Alice's thought.
"Is it naptime already, Alice?" I teased, keeping the human charade up.
"Sorry, I was daydreaming, I guess." she said, following along.

"Daydreaming's better than facing two আরো hours of schoo." Ben muttered.
I rather be at home. I'm so glad graduation is coming very soon, then পরবর্তি বছর I will going to the same বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় as Angela....
Ben's thoughts trailed off into a happy future. I shook him out of my mind.

Alice kept on talking to Ben and Angela but for one সেকেন্ড she ব্যক্ত something in her mind to me.

As soon as we get home, we need to tell the rest. This is something that can't be solved on it's own. We need to make a plan.

I moved my eyes up and down, as a nod.
Then she turned her attention back to Angela.

I didn't say anything afterwards. I can see in Bella's eyes that she was curious for what Alice saw. I played with her hair, trying the distract her.
Classes pasted দ্বারা fast, after one period, I talked to Ben about the Biology homework. Apparently he didn't understood it, so explained.

I was trying to distract myself from the news of Victoria so I would make Bella too curious. Then I heard someone else's mind screaming, mentally.

Stupid car! Why wouldn't it turn on right!?!

I recognized it was Mike Newton's voice.
I walked up to him, letting Bella follow along.
"Is something wrong?" I asked him, trying to be kind.
He looked up at me with a bewhildered expession.

Why does Cullen want to talk to me?

"I heard that something is wrong with your car.." I said.
"Oh.. um... Well, the car wasn't starting up properly and I just replaced the battery." he said, still mystified.
"Perhaps the cables?" I suggested.
"Maybe. I really don't know anything about cars. I need to have someone look at it, but I can't afford it to take it to Dowling's."

Dowling's prices are crazy. I bet no one here could afford the prices, except maybe the Cullens...

I held back a chuckle.
"I know a few things-I could take a look, if আপনি like. Just let me drop Alice and Bella at home." I offered.
Bella and Mike stared at me with shocked expressions and with their mouths dropped.

Since when did Edward Cullen started to be all nice?

"Er....thanks. But I have to get to work. Maybe another time." he siad, still startled.
"Absolutely." I told him.
"See ya." he said. He climbed into his car, trying to start it up again. It took him about 8 times for it to start up right. He shook his head.

What the hell was that!?!?

I walked with Bella to my Volvo and found Alice already in it.
"What was that about?" Bella asked while climbing into the car.
"Just being helpful." I replied.
Before Bella could ask anymore questions, Alice was babbling. Normally, it would annoy me, but this time, I was happy, because this will give Bella some distractions and some time for me to think about what we should do with Victoria and her return.
