The she-vampire demanded that I explain how I knew what they were. She was intimidating. The silent but large tears fell from my eyes as they always did in times of crises. I hated that. I answered "I've had a few encounters" as humbly as I could. The mind reader cut the she-vampire off when she started to ask another প্রশ্ন "We don't need to interrogate her" somehow I knew that the she-vampire disagreed. The mind reader and the she-vampire didn't seem to get along well but they weren't hostile. Like there was something that bonded them other than convenience. A mutual respect for the leader? It seemed stronger than that.
