i am friggin' excited for the movie, and i'm sure it will be great, but it won't live up to the books.

So excited about the movgie a little bummed. Every book is a movie. Gr!

Yeah, movies being better than their book counterparts is rare. I think that the movie will be good in it's own right and it's own ways.
I'm predicting there'll be good aspects and bad aspects to it, like in everything.

Of course the books will be better. All books are usually better than their movies (the only time I can think of that this isn't true is 'A Prayer for Owen Meany' and 'Simon Birch'), but I'm waiting to see if the movie will live up to the book/do it justice.

from the previews, it doesn't seem like the book, but it's not always like that with any other books that they have made into movies, so why would this one be different!

I really don't think so but i can't decide untill i've seen it. I know that i'll always prefer the books, i just hope it doesn't ruin it for me.
