Blievekataang Definitely fate, remember the time in the first movie when she is in that subway station in the beginning of the movie and Michael looks at Selene and she looks at him, you could tell and feel a connection between them.

Starwarschick18 I concur with u totally, They weren meant to be together!! I think they are such an amazing power couple and now that they have had sex, I am hoping in the 4th movie that Selene will get pregnant!! They will definitely have a AWESOME KICK ASS kid together!!

Dean_1109 Selene started to feel sorry for him, then after hearing his story it reminded her of a life she had long ago. To me this is what brought her closer to him. Its a no brainer for Michael. Selene is hot and she's saving his life over and over again. Whats not to love?

JosefS_girl24 I have to agree with Believekataang, their meeting had to be fate. I understand what you're saying about how they didn't have to fall in love but ever sense the beginning they've had undeniable chemistry. The scene that does it for me is after she drives the car into the water in the first movie and Michael saves Selene from drowning and her wound. I think this is when she really changes from some crazy lunatic to a person in his eyes. And now especially after seeing the forth movie, I'm positive that it was fate that brought them together.

spuffyx It's fate, they were destined to meet each other at least. Michael was under the Lycans radar, so by proxy Selene would've eventually found Michael. The fact that both felt attracted to each other at the subway just contribuited to feed Selene's little crush over him when she began investigating. She claimed she wanted to find out the Lycans' plan regarding Michael, but maybe she just wanted to see him again ;) She was grateful to him for saving her life, and I think she used that as a cover for having feelings for him. Feelings that turned deeper when she got to meet him better and witness her own sorrow reflected in his. And that's why she kissed him at the safehouse, as a goodbye, because she knew she'd have to kill him eventually. Her feelings must've been overwhelming, for someone who endured six centuries with nothing but a cold dettachment towards life, with revenge as a permanent goal. That's why I think she shed tears after the kiss, she had fallen in love with him. The strongest evidence of this is the fact that she was willing to leave everything behind in order to save him: her coven, her privileges as Viktor's favorite, her whole commitment as Death Dealer and to Viktor himself, at the risk of total ostracism from the entire vampire population and a death penalty over her head. She didn't care about anything of that, she just wanted Michael safe. That's why I admire Selene so much (and I'm guessing David too ;) she follows her feelings not matter what, till the very end. She's one of the bravest characters I ever knew. And it saddens me greatly that she doesn't have her own club in this place...

goth_cherry thats why i like the novelization, its actually written in 3 person omniscience hence you see selene denying to herself of her feelings towards michael, thinking things like she's too old for him, that she's a soldier or that she's not the girl she used to be, even though she felt an immediate attraction towards him form the moment she saw him while she crouched on the ledge of the Klotild Palace

Lycanverge12 Do you think Eve will start imitating her mother? I think she is going to become a good warrior and after centuriees she may rival her mother even with weapons. I would like to see her fall in love, although she might not know much of how to deal with a relation. I don't know this young girl presents so many doubts. I hope she can find her father someday.
