The rest of the world should shut up 'cause they didn't say America was corrupt when the all received Marshallhelp(if I translated that correctly) so why saying it now?!

I chose not to pick because in my 37 yrs I have realized one fact. No matter where you come from in America or anywhere in the world there is corruption. In a Democracy, in a Monarchy, and yes even in Communisum. Someone is always out for just themselves and use force, blackmail or what ever form of scheme to get what isn't theirs or enforce/make laws only in their interest. This is a fact of life. It is human nature for this to be an issue no matter the culture or where in the world one lives.

I think the rest of the world stretches the truth.Some people are selfish and only want money.BUT THAT'S THE SAME IN THE REST OF THE WORLD! I don't get why the world hates America.If many people hate America then why do they come and live there? America is just a country full of people from other countries.Polland,England,
Pakistan,China,Austalia,really!America is not just full of fat couch potatoes!People come there to do what they want and get whatever kind of job they want,because it's a land of freedom and liberty.Some people are corrupt.But so are other people in the world.

We have our share of assholes, but so does every country. We aren't the wastland other countries like to make us out to be, we are the typical result of a country that was on top but is starting to level itself. The descent isn't graceful. Think of France and England... they "fell" but they're still here, they're doing fine. America is doing FINE, or at least it will be once we stop spending so much money in the face of national debt.

I think the rest of the world vastly underestimates how much Americans actually know, or suspect about our own government. Thing is the reason we'll never rise up in rebellion is that our government is elected by us and they get their jobs done. Corrupt implies brokenness, only when a non-elected dictator takes power can call a democracy 'broken'.

All attempts at keeping a democracy have failed, Japan, Germany, Rome, England, and some corruptions lead to terrible things in history, like the holocaust and Stalin's reign of terror. Yet you guys didn't even try to kill Stalin because he didn't kill anyone from YOUR land, yet you wanted Bin laden, just because he killed some of your people. That is selfish, and you don't even try to help out Africa's suckish economic structure, you decide to go to Iraq instead when what Sudam did was NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

Let's live in fantasyland people and pretend that since 1980 we haven't become everything the founding fathers never wanted. Let's pretend we don't get involved with things we shouldn't be. Let's pretend we'll be the world power for much longer. Let's pretend this country is the democracy it used to be, that our rights haven't been taken away or abused. Let's pretend we won't end exactly like Ancient Rome. Let's pretend that the answers aren't right in front of us. We can't pretend like children anymore, people! This is what's happening to America. We are no longer the land of the free, the home of the brave. We are the land of losing freedom, home of the too broke to worry about bravery. And citizens vote for this! Citizens vote for their demise! The working class, the body of our power, struggles every day to make ends meet, and yet, the millionaires at the top want more from them while they do nothing! As our classes divide, so does America, and before you know it, our corruption will let China pass us. China, the communism with more poverty than us and little freedom. What does that say about American intelligence if a country like that is our competition? The competition that WILL win if we don't realize what's happening. As our rights are taken away, as the Constitution bends, as the wealth divides, America falls, and after that, there's no turning back. We'll be that amazing empire that every country wanted to be until one leader in 1980 changed that, until we fell from then on and became what all the rest before us were, an empire in shambles. So long story short, don't pretend we're not what other countries say because if you convince yourself we're what we used to be, then it'll get worse, and we'll prove them right.
