Who should play Lestat?

A new Vampire Chronicles movie is being discussed and there is some speculation about the actor to play everyone's পছন্দ Brat Prince. Robert Downey Jr. is in talks and Tom Cruise has been suggested দ্বারা অনুরাগী of the Interview movie.
