CHANNEL COURTNEY: my new book

So, last night, I had a vision for a new book. It takes place in the future of the US অথবা something. Right before you're born, They প্রকাশ a giant book like twice the size of any dictionary. In it is any information about you. They decide what you'll be called, what you'll look like, when আপনি are born, where you'll live, and everything আপনি will ever do. They also dive into the tiniest details about your death. They never miss a beat. আপনি know আপনি have your own book, but it's illegal to open it. And on শীর্ষ of Them literally লেখা down your life, each person has their own টেলিভিশন channel (think TRUMAN-SHOW) where আপনি just watch people live their scripted lives and call it "entertainment."
The narrator/protagonist Courtney lives with her mom, dad, and younger brother Gabe. Their বই are locked up in a নিরাপদ in the basement. Without any anticipation at all, Gabe violently perishes. Courtney is outraged and rants on about how "They can't expect me to cope like this, like I'll just be perfectly content watching my baby brother be ripped to pieces when he's sleeping." This is going against her book. She eventually rebels, opens her book and burns it, but They arrest her and put her in "The Looked" ghetto (a community for those that opened their books).
