He groaned as he was rudely awakened দ্বারা his youngest daughter jumping on his bed.
“Ugh what?”
“Your com is going off. I'm trying to sleep.”
“Oh excuse me!”
Lexi ran back out of the room and he grabbed his com-link. Devin had been out on another mission the night before so he was hoping it was her to tell him she was on her way back.
“Hello?”
“Were আপনি asleep?”
It was Silver's voice.
“No. My breath was even, my eyes were closed, and my brain was off.”
“Okay. Can আপনি come to the mountain? It's kinda an emergency.”
“What did Mel and/or Jamie do now?”
“Uh...it's not them.”
His brain woke up.
“Is Devin okay?!”
“Just....come to the mountain.”
He hung up and got dressed then got Lexi ready. She flew with him to the mountain. When the computer announced their arrival, Silver was standing in the front room.
“Daddaddaddaddaddad!!!!”
Mel and Jamie flew out of wherever they had been and ducked behind him. Lexi giggled.
“What's the problem? Where's my wife?”
“That's....hard to explain...”
Something flew past them, small and fast. There was a small giggle, similar to Lexi's. Fang raised an eyebrow and Silver nodded. The পরবর্তি time that she flew by, Fang grabbed her. Her wings flapped harder as she tried to escape. Fang gave a small smile. Mel and Jamie peeked out from behind him. He held the squirming অ্যাঞ্জেল in his arms and soothed her hair. She turned and her blue eyes lit up.
“Fang!”
She threw her arms around him and hugged him. Lexi's eyes widened.
“Mama?!”
