Every month we should post a poll untill then until the end of the month, We'll post like: "Who deserves the Emmy for articles?" Then let them decide and add their own answers and stuff. XP

Wel, I was thinking semi yearly. One story/character etc per person. Submit the link on a forum. Everybody goes and reads/looks at/watches, etc, votes, and they win something, like umm..... Props?

Probably me since I have no reason to enter because everything of mine Is now on fanfic.net. Plus, I have absolutely no reason to lie or cheat. (Not that any of you would).

Maybe it should be a dual thing, like two people run it, but they couldn't enter the contest...

Well, everybody is voting on the entry. Not just a few select people. Everyone. So there's no chance of false voting. And since I am not entering and have no reason to cheat, I won't "miscount" the votes.

I had this insane idea, more like a random slap of thought, but it would be cool if we had an assigned theme/idea when it comes to story entries. This is just a suggest, I'm not forcing it. Just throwing it up into the air like a flapjack.

Not a bad idea (Are we calmly conversing?) but I think you should be able to add any article from the previous six months. Whatever you think is your best work. Cause he Emmy's don't limit the types of movies (or is it songs?) that can be entered... It would have to be YJ though...

Great idea! Though I think we should make a rule that you can't pronounce who you wanna vote on the wall or anywhere publicly. Like, you can share it over IM or some other private chat thingy, but not where people will we it and get insulted and start a fist fight.

I suppose you and I can actually have those decent conversation... Anyhow, I see what you mean. Hmm, should there be a date of which how old and how new the articles can be so that way people don't write a whole new article just to enter? Just suggesting, otherwise you have the reins on this task. Also, I think the Emmy's are for movies and naturally it has something to do with Young Justice. This is a Young Justice OC club.

Yeah. Here's what I was thinking:

Open a forum for each different category (characters/stories/images/etc)
People submit one story/image/character/etc per person.
After say...ten days, everyone reads the stories/looks at he images/characters/etc. and PMs me their vote for each category. Voting for two weeks. I tally up the results and announce it at a specific time!

I think it's a good idea.........however, me being the pessimist that I am, think that this isn't going to work, only because people will vote for their friends and it will become a popularity contest (just like the real emmy's and all other awards). Secondly, since everyone will be voting really aids my prediction. Everyone will vote for their friends.

Yeah BR, it would have to be an article written within the last six months. And they could write a new article for the Emmys, but it is advised they submit their best, not newest work.

And no........not everyone is friends with everyone. There are quite a few of us......who really don't care for one another and will be damned if they vote for that person.

@Baker: Yeah, I was thinking about that too. We could always ya' know... Submit it anon or something and have the mods post the articles or whats not. So no one knows who's who, and if you reveal which article is yours, then your K.O. of the voting. However, if you know people writing style, then it should be easy to piece together who's who.... Ya' know?

How can you post anonymously? And how can you trust the judge for not tampering with it? Those are my two things......not to mention, POPULARITY CONTEST.

One: two judges who can't enter can publish the stories/characters (good idea!). We won't tamper with anything, if so, mail us and we'll fix it.

Two: this won't be a popularity contest. If you're worried about that, don't enter. Plain and simple.

I just don't trust it.......and BR so right......too many holes in this idea.

Well, each judge would tally the votes alone and send their total to the other, then the other would do the same, and after confirming the fit number, the winners would be announced. And you have to sign up to be the moderator...

Wait. You would have to write a new story, cause anyone could go back in the previous six months and see who wrote what... Dang!

I'm still not understanding the whole anonymous posting.........but hey, that's just me. Also, I don't think that moderators should have to sign up for it........

And honestly, if it's a writing contest, it should have guidelines. For example, has to pertain to the time jump, has to take place during a certain episode of the moderators' choosing, has to be about 4 characters only: Superboy, Robin, Kaldur, KF, etc. That kind of thing. Otherwise, you're going to get a whole hell of a lot of nonsense writing that is great, but has nothing to do with it's major subject.
