yes, a whole season was japanese only. it is known as season 0 and it shows Yugi getting the millenium item, Yugi and the group have a member called Miho and Bakura joins the school. this season was probably not released in england because of how violent it was. and there is no dueling in it.

Well There was Season 0..which was not dubbed if those count..and it's almost nothing like the Duel Monsters series..it even has some other characters..also there were many different parts of episodes were taken out of certain episodes in the english dub of the duel monsters series.
