Alex Offered 'Mortal Instrument' Role Jace Wayland 

This is great news but honestly he's already gonna be doing a 6-book franchise if number four is a success which it will be, how exactly will he be able to juggle two big book heroes at the same time???

Apparently we will find out next week!! I hope he ends up playing him and I think he will. I read that apparently he's read the books and really likes the character of Jace.

He could. Most books series (or movie sequels) have movies coming out ever year or so like Harry Potter in the beginning. He may be doing other movies as well, but he'd probably fit those around Number Four and possibly this if he does take the offer. And there are currently 3 MI books outs, they could do a LoTR and film them all back-to-back (I don't think they will, but they could with the next few books) and the next Number Four book comes out later on in the year, plus he has already filmed Number Four and CoB starts filming in April. I'm not sure if he will juggle both films, but it's his choice and it can be done. I'm not sure if this makes sense but this is just my little rant/opinion.

No I like the things you pointed out and its awesome he's got this other opportunity. I've never read thoes books are they worth the read? I just worry that he won't continue making the Number Four films if he takes this deal cuz I already love that series and I can tell its gonna be a huge hit when it comes to theatres. I also heard that Alex and the other actors were contracted for the first 3 Number Four movies, I just don't want anything to happen to that francise:(

Yes, MI is definitely worth reading. It's my favourite book series. Well if his contracted for the first 3 Number Four book than he'll probably stick to it. It could be a struggle but I think that if he does take the offer than both production company should be aware that their schedules don't clash.
