Season 5: When does Sydney find out Vaughn is actually alive?

we see Vaughn in Nepal so WE know he's not dead and then in the পরবর্তি episode Sydney just knows he's alive. When does she actually find out? And what explanation is there for his survival?

When Isabella was born, Jack says "I'll take care of it", referring to the fact that Vaughn's will be informed of his daughter birth. And then we see Vaughn.
