Well, it doesn't quite fit the recent-looking bill, but I think Lovely Complex sounds right up your alley. :D

Kyoukai no Rinne. It's a romantic comedy about a half-human/half-shinigami and a human. It's sort of a ক্রুশ between ইনুয়াসা and Bleach. There is also some action to keep the series interesting, plus there is no complex plot which আপনি need to follow closely.

It's a relatively new জীবন্ত which আপনি can watch subbed on most জীবন্ত sites, but there is no English dub yet.

Ouran Highschool Host Club. Must-see

Try Toradora! It came out in like, 2008 I think... but the অ্যানিমেশন is great, and it has a "new anime" feel. I think you'd like it!
