I'm annoyed about the Anniversary bit because she's effing enchanted or whatever - looks like all the decent arwen scenes this season are going to be when gwen's not actually herself. Well thanks very much TPTB for nothing ..... god.
i'm confused about the picnic scene, as i read somewhere that this episode is directed by Alice Troughton and apparently she wasn't in Pierrefonds in September when all the pictures were taken of Arthur and Gwen in the courtyard on the horses with Merlin etc ....... i'm clutching at straws here
Someone said that there's likely going to be two different picnics. One's in this episode which we won't see because it gets interrupted before they even get there and the other one is in a later episode. So maybe they're doing this so we'll get some nice Arwen moments after the enchantment is lifted.
For six FRIGGIN episodes we barely had any Arwen interaction. Gwen is enchanted, and becomes a cold blooded, i hate my husband, "F" everyone except my lady Morgana, marionette, and suddenly we get Arthur and Gwen scenes. Sigh. Any Arwen scenes might look pretty on the outside, but will be meaningless,and tainted since Gwen is merely a shell.
Hun, I understand your frustrated but I'm sure we will get scenes of A/G when she returns to normal. Also their scenes will still be meaningful just not in the way we expected cuz despite Gwen being a puppet Morgana can't remove her love for Arthur.
