Why do I get stared at so much দ্বারা the way I dress?

Idk.... if I saw someone dressed like that I'd have to look also. People just don't see dress like that everyday. People might even think you're a... *GASP* weeaboo. And/or hungry for attention. (Massive head-bows? really?)

If that's your style...and আপনি want to dress that way, fine....more power to ya... but আপনি need to be able to handle the criticism that goes along with it. People are judgmental, and dressing like that probably doesn't make a best first impression. I'm just being honest.

আপনি shouldn't worry about others cause your trying to express yourself and trying to make your own style.don't worry about what others think because its your life.

Don't take it as a negative thing, sometimes when people are looking at আপনি it's probably cuz they like what you're wearing. Well, that's usually what I think when I look at someone's outfit.

I remember one girl had a victorian style dress, but she had a modern গথ দেশীয় edge to it, she really suited it.

Just remember it's not a bad thing to turn a few heads.

I think it's cool আপনি dress like that :) it's unique, one of a kind. Don't care what others think there probably jealous that আপনি have the confidence to dress that way.

Dressing how আপনি want is fine just as long as আপনি don't dress like your homeless অথবা a slut.

It depends on how they stare. If আপনি dress the way আপনি described, it is only to be expected that people will look at you, simply because they see something out of ordinary. It doesn't necesserily mean that they will stare in a negative and/or judgemental way. It is natural that in a group of, say, 20 people dressed in jeans and t-shirts a person dressed in an 'anime way' will stand out.
So yes, if আপনি do not want to attract attention আপনি should dress in a আরো typical way. আপনি are the only person who can say whether this attraction bothers আপনি অথবা not. If it doesn't, keep on dressing the way আপনি do. :) If it does, well, there is another question: Do people just stare অথবা do আপনি notice their negative attitude as well? I'm afraid that there's nothing আপনি can do about those who do not accept individuality and want everyone to dress all the same, apart from ... ignoring them.

I think আপনি probably have আরো confidence than আপনি think. It takes guts to stand out. Last বছর my daughter had the same problem at her old school. She's artistic and designs her own clothes, অথবা she likes to wear dresses from the '40s. Other people stared অথবা commented, usually negatively. When she tried to dress আরো "normal", she then got flack for trying to fit in. Ultimately she decided that it's worthless to please others, so she dresses how she likes. Don't let other people get to you. You're young--enjoy it.
