Help!

My cat was in a really playful mood before and he rolled on his back and he grabbed my hand with his paw and kinda scratched me, he's never scratched me before, do আপনি think he was trying to hurt me? অথবা did he not mean to do it? like was he just playing? and does it mean he hates me?
