It's very sweet and romantic, but they just don't know each other. The dude din't even go after her himself! At least with Aurora and Phillip, Phillip made some effort to go after her when she ran away and tried to get his father to break the engagement. It seems like this is more of a puppy love than anything, whereas the others have more evidence that both prince and princess care about one another.
