Sorry it took me so long to finish this countdown. I just got lazy I guess haha. I did this countdown because while there have been multiple "Best Kiss" countdowns I have never seen the "Almost Kisses" get much appreciation. Here's my quick top10 পছন্দ of ডিজনি Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune অথবা lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I প্রণয় become my all time পছন্দ and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic সঙ্গীত is. Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be আরো positive people. They cared আরো about well-roundedness, being modest...

After being here on ফ্যানপপ since few months, my opinions and way of seeing each princess have changed a lot, though not for all princesses. Some have gone from পছন্দ to least পছন্দ while some have been on an opposite ride, altogether. A lot has changed as I have grown up and inclusion of other princesses as well in সাম্প্রতিক times (Frozen and Brave).

Okay, so I have come across a lot of criticism against Merida that she is childish, rude, reckless, selfish and what not. But since she's my 2nd পছন্দ princess, i'd like to put up a case in her favor for people to consider and see her in better light. I have tried to dissect the movie scenes, probed into possible perspective on various minor details that may have been overlooked.


Why she isn't sophisticated as others:
She no doubt loves both her mother and father, but Merida takes off a part of feisty, loud and unapologetically honest side from her father. She loves to fight with him, laughing...

I got this idea when I learned that at one point, ডিজনি actually was using some of the princesses in cause advertisements and it got me thinking: If each of the ডিজনি Princesses wanted to select a cause/charity to contribute to, which would it be?

Snow White- Senior Citizens: Snow White ends up homeless after running away from the evil কুইন and she was fortunate that the 7 dwarfs took her in. This is why I think she would want to help senior citizens the way she did for the dwarfs and the way that they helped her (although they were not senior, they were getting close).

When Princess and the Frog came out it got people talking. Not only is Tiana a trailblazer for being the first African American Princess, but she was the first princess to independently have jobs and dedication to pursue a realistic career, I get that not every little girl dreams of having a business and they’d rather have the sparkly গাউন, gown but I had hopes that Tiana would inspire them to come up with realistic goals.
