This is for an upcoming article that I am doing about the flaws of each Princess movie. Your comments may be used in the article

Again, it was a good film, but the movie had some problems. I didn't really like some of the plot, but it was still a great movie.

It's a minor thing, but when they transformed into frogs, they could talk to animals, and they couldn't before as humans. But as frogs they ALSO talk to humans. Which is it? "Animal language" or human language?

Well in the book that this based off of when you are a human and turned into an animal you can talk to both and when you change back you can still talk to both....something to do with the magic....

When Tiana kissed Naveen she turns into a frog because she is not a princess. When Lottie does it after midnight multiple times, she stays human.
How does Facilier know so much about Tiana? As far as we know, he never meet her before. And how the hell translates him becoming rich into a lot of souls for his friends on the other side?
Why does Tiana not warn Lottie that she is dancing with a wrong prince? Why does she believe the wrong prince is Naveen despite knowing that the terms of the spell are that she is turned human when he is (but then she got a whole song about not concentrating on her restaurant so much and didn't get it at all).
Does nobody miss Tiana in the days when she is gone? She simply vanished from Lottie's party after all.
Why should Ray help a frog? One would think that he would keep away from predators.

Even though I like this movie, it does have some problems:
- The plot is a bit too complicated and makes the film look rushed
- Doctor Facilier is just there to be a villain. His motives are unclear, and his ploy takes place merely out of luck
- Since Charlotte was not a princess after midnight, she should have turned into a frog, just like Tiana did
- Naveen's development, and the development if his relationship with Tiana is definitely rushed

There are some obvious problems, but it is not downright terrible, like some people make it out to be

^ Thanks. For the last few weeks, plot holes and animation issues have came up so often, and I wanted to do an article in this for a while now, but I know I could not do it all by myself.

No, it's not downright terrible...there are far worse Disney movies. But for a DP movie, PatF was a big disappointment, more so, because it was suppose to launch 2D animation again, and failed.

^ After it had its run in theatres, Disney announced that they would release a traditionally animated film every 2 years, and they did with Winnie the Pooh in 2011. It did not do well in the box office (I didn't even know it was in theatres). It is definitely one of the weaker Princess movies, and it unfortunately did not bring back traditional animation. None of the films that Disney are developing right now are traditionally animated. It seems like they are abandoning their roots
