It's a cute movie, but I don't love it as much as I love the rest of the movies remaining. TLM was my favorite movie as a child, purely because the main heroine was a mermaid. However, at the moment I cannot connect in any way to the main heroine, I find the prince bland and most of the sidekicks annoy me (except for Sebastian). The animation is also not that impressive. They could have done so much more, especially in the underwater world!

Pocahontas is still here? Shock since that is usually considered the worst and least favourite DP Movie.

I have said it before, the humor is contrived, the dialogue is very DreamWorks, it does not seem to take itself as serious as it could be, and the characters are not that interesting, though likeable. Everything about it screams a good DreamWorks film (without pop-culture references), though they do have modern talk. This is a lot like Aladdin, but that movie takes itself more seriously, and the diogue is not irritating.

Why is this here? This movie did not do a good job!

Like I said before, I like it but not as much as the others.

It's all too much humor, it gets old by the end.

I like this movie but compared to the others, it's nothing special.

It's too historically inaccurate and the villain is a buffoon who has no real reason for being in the movie.

Yuck! It is not so great! The songs are great and it ends in that...

Call me crazy but on Fanpop I think this movie is wildly overrated. It and The Black Cauldron are my least favorite Disney Classics out there. The only thing that remarkable about it is Colors of the Wind and to some extent the animation.
