Charming from what we see of him seems rather chill and non-strict, and Cinderella I think wouldn't really be strict either and just let their kids do whatever they want.

Judging from how they acted with Melody, I don't think they're strict. They're protective, but not strict.

Ariel seems more care free and Eric. I think Eric would still be very loose on their kid. Ariel has that adventure taste, she would want her daughter(Melody) to explore and be free. Melody could go wild. I would think Eric would like any guy, leave that kind of stuff to the girls. Not get involved in limitations revolving around Melody and boys and being free etc. They are only protective over their fishy secret, not strict about Melody's whereabouts. They just want to keep the secret a secret.

Also Cinderella and Charming.

They would be too fun-loving.

I'm surprised Ariel and Eric are winning. In The Little Mermaid Return to the sea, Ariel won't let Melody in the ocean there was really no need to keep it a secret, in fact it would've been safer if they told her
