Is Dragon Ball Z Kai the same thing as Dragon Ball Z?

I use to watch the প্রদর্শনী on cartoon network and i remember most of the episodes. And i think they just added Kai at the end to make it new.

It's not DBZ Kai is basically DBZ with pointless filler cut out. I like it better personally but that's my opinion it has less filler, better dialogue and acting.
