I stepped away from The Office spot and emirc2363 is part of almost every spot I love. She adds amazing content to so many spots and has genius taste in music. She kicks major ass in my opinion!

Ok, I have to put in my 2 cents too. Temptasia is an awesome member. She contributes tons of stuff every day and write amazing soapboxes on top of that. She is kind to everyone. She also just got her first yellow medal! I think she deserves this!

If it gets too out of hand within the next few days I shall get one of the Fanpop four to investigate. Other people aren't always going to agree with my opinion of "worthy" fans for fan of the fortnight, which is why I always allow people to add other people.

People have great reasons for voting for who they did. AGH! And PkmnTrainerJ, I can only imagine how difficult it is nominating. *Deep bow* you have my deepest admirations. I should have added and voted for you! LOL!

But Temptasia is always nothing but sweet, and she seems to be everywhere, or maybe that's just me.

As for people nominating/voting for themselves... I've decided that I think they'll have to deal with the stigma that they nominated themselves. So let them do it. Obviously it's a little irksome if they don't deserve it, but like I said, everyone can see that they nominated themselves which kind of... says something about the person... Not to be mean or anything. I mean, I think everyone on fanpop (or, at least, mostly everyone... definitely everyone who has participated in/commented on this pick!) is a fantastic fanpopper in his/her own right, but it's been my experience that Fan of the Fortnight is an honorable title, and it should feel like more of an honor if you're nominated by PkmnTrainerJ or someone else. It loses some of that honor when you nominate yourself, but I think that's the nominee's loss more than anyone else's.

I wasn't trying to be mean to Dr. Cox if I was just pointing out something I thought people should know about before voting for him. Sorry if it came off mean.

I make observations on every one who is nominated. I was just wondering how Temptasia's husband (spasticnature) has hardly contributed anything but has over 3000 ratings and Temptasia who contributes a lot only has a little over 1000 ratings. It seems like people on that list go around preaching about things they don't practice. And use others to rate their stuff. I am not accusing just observing. Drcoxrox shouldn't be called out on things he apologized for publicly. He made a mistake and is a better user. Posting the link to that comment was immature. This is not a presidental election! I hope no one takes this the wrong way. But I am sure they will.

I don't really appreciate you saying that. There are different kinds of users. Some users like me use this site to watch cool stuff and view pictures. Others like my wife spend less time viewing and more time adding. I see nothing wrong with either of those things. And I did say that if I offended anyone by saying that about Dr. Cox I was sorry. So I am not sure why you would write something that would degrade or insinuate things about someone who contributes so much to this site. I am certainly not trying to stir anything up here.

When people go all around Fanpop promoting themselves or giving people props just to get them to vote their way it seriously nauseates me. It seems so desperate because people should vote for who truly deserves it not who "bought" the votes so to speak.

Just thought i should add.....yeah i enjoy getting a prop and medals etc, like everyone else but at the end of the day it is only a website. Some people do act as though its some sort of competition and take things too seriously. To me Fanpop is meant to be 'fun' lets have it like that! :)

Holy crap, I just read through all these comments and things are getting pretty nasty.
I've only been part of Fanpop for a month now, and it's been really fun. One of the first people I noticed was Temtasia: she's really nice, adds a lot of great stuff, and is all over the place, as are a lot of other people.
I just think that people need to calm down and stop sweating the small stuff. Don't try to start things that aren't even there. Have fun, that's what this site is all about. :D
