Today's ফ্যানপপ has আরো people mean and sarcastic then others. I'm not against it, but I don't have to be.

For those "yelled" at constantly, that means you're doing something WRONG! And it only leads to disaster. What might আপনি do wrong?
• Spamming
• Spelling names wrong
• Using incorrect grammar
• Posting miscategorized pictures, picks, questions(answers), etc. to a spot
• Hating on the person's spot
• Impersonating a celebrity
• Making a hate spot

If আপনি do any of those things, আপনি WILL be yelled at অথবা sarcastically talked to. And don't be a baby and cry about it. FIX IT!

Don't go on the Twilight Series spot and say: I HATE THIS STUFF! People will scream at you. Maybe even প্রতিবেদন আপনি if it's too serious.

Fans, do not kill yourself because I told আপনি this is OKAY to do.

Renesmee_XD Forgot to add but, if your native language is not English and you speak another language, hate might hit you! Seriously? I have been speaking Hindi all my life does that mean even though I am better at English I will be hated for speaking Hindi? :/

youknowit101 I don't think it's right to tell people to kill themselves, even if you're angry or just joking. Some bouts of anger or jokes shouldn't be acceptable. The only time someone deserves the sarcasm is when you *spam *impersonate someone *post miscategorized comments *or spread hate (hate spots or unprovoked hateful comments) Why can't you let it slide if someone spells something wrong or messes up their grammar? Is it really a big deal? It's a little annoying, but you'll live. If someone gets sarcastic with me, I'll get sarcastic right back, unless I think it's funny. If someone gets snide with me, i'll get snide right back. Especially if it's because I misspelled something. You should add to that list *If you "yell" at someone for doing these things, expect to get "yelled" at right back.

william_laughs I think yelling is not a good reaction. If someone is being "yelled at constantly" it might be that a troll mob has formed. So why blame the person being yelled at? It's better for ALL of us to be more civil. We may fall short of perfect behavior, but we can have great interactions if we come to FanPop with that intention. Not everyone on FanPop is the same age or they may be going through a difficult time. So I think it's good to relax and not take anything on Fanpop personally...but keep in mind others might not be able to help it. And if we meet people who aren't acting civil, we can always just ignore them or report them.

fanfly What william_laughs said. Just because someone made a mistake is absolutely no reason to YELL at them. You can help them by politely pointing out that they made a mistake and giving them advice on how to correct it. As for spelling/grammar; I admit that I hate text speak but I certainly don't go around yelling at people who use it or talking down to them. What would that get me? Nothing but a reputation as a bitch. And I always give people who demonstrate poor spelling and/or grammar the benefit of the doubt. English is not everyone's native language and to get your panties in a twist over something like that just makes you look like an ass hole. The only thing I agree deserves a bit of yelling at is the ones who go on a spot they aren't a fan of and deliberately insult the topic. That's trolling. But since they're obviously just trying to stir up trouble and get a reaction, the best way to foil them is just to ignore them. If they continue, report them. Oh and people who impersonate celebrities should just be reported.

karlyluvsam dont be mean to new fanpopers that wont to know about medals - ok yeah almost evey week someone post a questin - that says " how to get medals " " why dont they have have one yet " " or asking what it is " but come do you really have to bite there head off --- some people havent been here from the start of fan pop - an have like 49 medals

william_laughs We all come to Fanpop for a good time and to meet people like us. But I know where she's coming from. It's frustrating sometimes to meet people who are just looking for a fight or drama. But the thing I keep in mind is, I can minimize drama by just not participating in it. And I can be aware that my own words help shape experiences here on Fanpop. I'd rather make it a good experience.

The_Zebra_Freak i REALLY hate when people pick on me for my grammar. Its ridiculous. I mean,its just grammar. Oh well i mispell stuff SO WHAT?

To like অথবা not to like? That is the question.

Earlier tonight, the ratings system of ফ্যানপপ experienced a massive overhaul. No longer can আপনি rate content on a scale of one to five (ala YouTube), but if আপনি like content, আপনি can "like" it (ala Facebook), অথবা "be a fan" of it.

Dave gave a very good, logical explanation for the change to help assuage some fears and answer some questions:

Re-reading the various প্রবন্ধ about promoting সংগঠন on Fanpop, it occurred to me that some fairly basic ideas were missing for promoting the সংগঠন আপনি like (not just the ones আপনি create, but any সংগঠন আপনি enjoy).

Many of the পূর্ববর্তি etiquette প্রবন্ধ and ফোরাম threads have described things to avoid in promoting a club, as well as suggestions for things to do. For once, I'm not going to rant about undesirable behavior (that's the plan, anyway), but just keep the focus on other things অনুরাগী can try to promote their পছন্দ clubs. I hate those darned internet predators, don't you?

I just logged onto ফ্যানপপ about a half ঘন্টা পূর্বে and discovered something extremely profane and inappropriate on the YouTube spot. Due to it's heavily pornographic material, the video was deleted shortly thanks to several reports from some handy fellow Fanpoppers.

It was দাখিল হয়েছে দ্বারা a user of the name bon8699. I reported this user 3 times and I expect him to be banned for a long, long time.

The reason I am so annoyed that this was দাখিল হয়েছে is that this is not some pornography site. And this is most certaintly not NewGrounds, where আপনি can জমা করুন প্রতিমূর্তি like this as much as আপনি please without...

I swear to whatever higher power আপনি believe in that I am going to injure someone with all the shoddy spelling going around. Yes abbreviations are easier (in a sense) but it looks like a 5 বছর old wrote it and a lot of people don't understand it. So lets first go over some abbreviations that we should cut out of our vocabulary here at ফ্যানপপ when আপনি post content...

u = you
r = are
srs = serious
2 = to অথবা too (using it as "two" is fine)
plz = please

If আপনি actually take that .5 of a সেকেন্ড to type the whole word people will look at your content, মতামত and such a lot আরো and with nicer comments...

I am way past the lecturing and into downright grrrrrr-ville.

আপনি already know full well that taking something আপনি did not create and not giving full credit to the owner is theft. Your excuses mostly boil down to laziness at this point.

So.

This is my public notice that any and all প্রতিমূর্তি with no credit to the original owner of the image will be rated harshly no matter how great the picture is... অথবা how much I normally like you.

Additionally, if there is a blatant Copyright notice right there on the damn picture and আপনি still failed to credit the owner, I'm reporting it to ফ্যানপপ -and- notifying the owner of the image that আপনি গাউন it.

Right, well the শিরোনাম is a bit sarcastic. The whole "trolling" thing is sorta annoying me that having a low rate on something HAS to mean আপনি were trolled...well maybe there's a different reason. I'll break it up to why that might not have been a trolling...

Yes, I am fired up again over another issue of cruelty here on Fanpop... specifically the practice of passing judgment on other users.
Let's face it, we do not know each other personally, and for the most part none of us have ever met in real life. I think it is cruel and sad that people find it necessary to try to judge the intentions অথবা actions of others. How could anyone possibly judge another person অথবা their actions without knowing them personally অথবা knowing the things they are going through. আপনি could not possibly say what আপনি would do in their situation without...

Okay, I don't know if it's just coincidence but I noticed this week that some picks just are, I don't quite know how to describe it, bad.

It just seems that a lot of picks are asked so that they are asked, a lot of them don't have pictures. (that's not very important but I can't help noticing)
But the worst thing is that there are so many typos in the questions. Look, my English is not very good, I make a lot of mistakes but al least I try to make as less as possible. I mean, a lot of প্রশ্ন are just so wrong, the 'preview' thing that আপনি get when you've finished making your pick is there...

A few মিনিট পূর্বে I thought of a partial answer to the সাম্প্রতিক outbreak of internet trolls we've had over the last few moths.

Ladies and Gentlepoppers, I introduce to you:

The ATSOF (The Anti Troll Squad Of Fanpop)
This will be a society of fanpoppers who work together to justly rate any content which has (without reason) been rated low.

My plan is to make an ATSOF Spot; if a spot অথবা particular piece of content has been rated low আপনি can alert the ATSOF spot about this and some of the "fans" of the spot will head over to the content and rate the content fairly, therefore boosting the rating.

Please tell me what আপনি think; I don't want to create a Ghost-Spot-to-be

If we make a new spot we want to make it popular. Recently I made a new spot so when I wanted to send a message to all my বন্ধু about it I got tired of typing individual messages so I quit. So we should be able to send one message to all our বন্ধু at the same time if necessary. Also there should be an area that says "new spots" on the প্রথমপাতা page so that people can see what has been recently created and if they want to যোগদান the particular spot. It would really make the people who created the spots happy because they could get some good publicity.

দ্বারা the way I made a new spot about Kal Penn, the indian guy from the অগ্রদূত wilder movies, Harold and Kumar go to white castle, and Epic Movie.

So if u like those চলচ্চিত্র check it out. all আপনি have to do is type "Kal Penn" in the খুঁজুন engine" (obviously, I know)

Terrorist Attack in Paris

Hello to everyone,
my name is Inès, and I'm French.

As a lot of আপনি know, Paris has been attacked yesterday দ্বারা terrorists. The সঙ্গীতানুষ্ঠান hall "Le Bataclan" has been attacked during a concert.

128 dead and আরো than 200 wounded are for now counted. This is a tragedy.

I was born and I've lived in Paris, and I often go there and to the Bataclan to attend concerts, and seeing this, is just awful. The whole country is shocked and desperate.

3 national days of mourning have been declared.

Well, we've been in Iraq for five years as of Wednesday. And now we might be getting into the same thing in Iran.
