I've been watching some episodes of Ghost Whisperer, new ones and old, and I'm confused; does/did her husband die?

He ended up getting shot and when he was in the hospital and he had an embolism which I think it has something to do with your brain. But he ended up going in to someone's body Sam, but he didn't remember anything and when he went to save Melinda he almost drowned and because of almost dieing Jim's memory replace Sams. and BOOM Jim's back. Yes Jim was shot and died in the hospital. When his ghost appeared to Melinda he refused to ক্রুশ over and instead took over the body of an accident victim named Sam. Through all of season 4 he was Sam. Whenever he looked in a mirror the viewers saw his new identity, any other time it was Jim's face we saw (I suspect to remind us that his spirit was still there). But everyone called him Sam. All the sudden in season 5 he is no longer Sam and he is recognized দ্বারা everyone as Jim again and I have no idea why they did that.

Yes, Jim died. He was shot, but his ghost did not go into the light because he did not want to leave Melinda. So, he jumped into this guy Sam's body shorty after Sam died. It was his soul inside Sam but he looked like Sam. He couldn't remember anything from his life as Jim. Weird right? Melinda saw him as Jim, but everyone else saw him as Sam. Sam lived in her গ্যারেজ for a while, why I don't remember. Melinda tried desperately to have him remember.

Then, in one episode Melinda was trapped under ground where water was flooding. She would drown, Sam went in to try to save her. Sam "died" again and the part of his soul left, which left only Jim inside. He was Jim in Sams body, but he didn't realize that he had died and he wasn't in his body. He saved Melinda and she called him Sam. He had no idea why. She then realized that he was Jim. He looks like Sam to everyone but Melinda, but i guess this season they really don't care to mention Sam at all. Sorry, I hope আপনি understood all that, I'm terrible at explaining things.
