How do আপনি tell your mom আপনি want to be Goth?

Don't tell her just do it! Parents can think they can control their children, but they can't, not like that. I would know because I'm 32 and have a daughter that just turned 14, and if she started putting on a sports teem mini স্কার্ট and blazer to become a ditcy cheerleader and started listening to Hip Hop saying that's what she wanted to do, I would freek, but at the same time there's not a damn thing I could do a bout it. If that'd what she wanted to do, and I hate cheerleaders, always have always will XD. If আপনি talk to your mother and respect her then talk to her about your feelings and if she's cool she'll understand, if not well আপনি have to be who আপনি are, don't be a closet goth because because mommy has a problem with it that would just be a shame.

Just say it, loud and clear. She can't stop আপনি from being who আপনি are.

I started asking when I was eight but was allowed when I was thirteen. At first, my mom would let me wear black, but she didn't want net gloves অথবা chains অথবা eyeliner. আপনি just have to ease your way into it. If আপনি প্রদর্শনী up like a রামধনু one দিন and total goth the পরবর্তি your mom is going to bug out. Just add things as she gets used to them. I'm not goth ALL the time, I have a VERY strange style and my mom used to think that it was just because I was little, so she would make me change. Now, as long as it isn't showy অথবা anything, she's okay with anything that I want to wear. (But I use purple eyeliner instead of black.)

I just ask my mom if i can borrow her spike choker ;) same thing u ব্যক্ত describes my grandma. If she dont like the outfit, jewelry, অথবা dark makeup i wear, she either tells me to change অথবা stay home. Its just that she doesnt know how "in control" she can be. Why wont she let me be myself instead of her clone? TOTALLY SUCKS!!!!!!!
