Is it true that আপনি shouldn't keep an iPhone in, say, your jeans pocket?

Because I just got an iPhone, and my dad already has one, and he told me that I shouldn't keep it in my pants pocket because it will get bent. Is this true? And if it is, what have আপনি found to be the best place to keep your iPhone?

well i keep my phone in my pocket all the time and it is ok but if ure scared of putting it in your pocket get a clear protective cover অথবা a rubber cover to go over it this way if u put it in ure poket no harm can be done but i put it in my pocket all the time x
