okay, i admit that i found this story actually boring compared to the others, and i didn't relate to it in any way, i just didn't like it...

Well, as i say, i like the book, but there's many characters who's upsettinhg

I don't think you could call any of the stories boring, just some of the adaptations have been and not brought the true characters to life in the way they were meant to be interpreted or portrayed.This is what sets aside 1995 'Pride & Prejudice' adaptation and the same for 2009's of Emma. They were also both made by the BBC.(Just an opinion).

i think all of BBC's adaptation were boring and gave us the wrong idea of these great stories, just like the new Persuasion, it makes you feel like u r watching a horror movie or something, it depressed me, though the end was nice,and the same thing in Emma and P&P 1995.

^I kinda agree with you about BBC's adaptations. But I think they had very good Sense and Sensibility 2008, Emma 2009 and Northanger Abbey 2007. But Emma 1996 (with Mark Strong) and Pride and Prejudice 1995 were awful and gave us the wrong idea of these great stories, as you said. I dislike their Persuasion, 1995 and Northanger Abbey, 1986 as well.

I love Pride and Prejudice '95 and I think it's very true to the book. I don't see how it could give you a 'wrong idea' of it. I didn't find it boring at all. I also love Persuasion '95.

^I can respect your opinions, but I can't agree. Especially about Pr.& Pr.1995. Wrong emotions, this Darcy who is ready to kill someone. Stupid smile of Elizabeth and so on. I don't want to continue, it can hurt some people.

Well, it's all subjective so I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree then. :)
