No other entity has ever created as many hit-making artists and best-selling albums and singles. No one else in today's pop culture sells as many records and dominates the charts as American Idol.

American Idol finalists have won five Grammy Awards plus an Oscar (Jennifer Hudson, Best Supporting Actress, "Dreamgirls"), a Golden Globe (Jennifer Hudson again!) and a Tony nomination (Constantine Maroulis, Leading Actor in a Musical), not to mention mantles full of American সঙ্গীত Awards, Academy of Country সঙ্গীত Awards, County সঙ্গীত Association Awards, MTV's VMA Awards,NAACP Image Awards, People's Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards, Billboard Awards, CMT Awards and Nashville সঙ্গীত Awards.

Individual achievements দ্বারা American Idols are also remarkable. Carrie Underwood is the best-selling American Idol (including all contestants), with album sales in excess of 10 million.
