Mulligan, Stewart ‘battle it out’ for ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ role 

I didn't think this remake was being made. I read an article in Total Film magazine that it was very unlikely that they were going to do this. My would you remake a movie that only came out this year, because its in Swedish!! I doesn't make sense to me.
Either way, I don't think that either Kristen or Carey would be good in this role. I really hope they don't do it.....

Agree with Meganj15, I love those movies and books and I hate it that they are going to do a remake just because some Americans are too lazy to read the text. If they are going to do a remake, it not going to be anywhere close as good as the original. Kristen may pull it of because she has done some scene in other movies that can be in the movie. She has played Joan Jett, which proves that she can do "harder" characters as Lisbeth is. However, I don't think she will be any wear as close as Noomi did her, she made the character her own. So I hope that she can play Lisbeth but I don't think that it will happen because she said that she don't want to do a Hollywood film.
