If they did a remake of the Labyrinth, who would আপনি choose to play Sarah and Jareth?

Not that I really want a remake, but if I had to choose a Jareth I'd choose Jared Leto - he's an amazing actor/singer! He's the lead singer of 30 সেকেন্ড To Mars and I think he'd be able to pull it off :D

Gonna sound immature here but he would be hot as jareth and maybe it would be harder for Sarah to resist his offer :-)

Labyrinth উত্তর

Ashley-Green said:
It's certainly an interesting thought (and I like the idea of a younger Ryder as Sarah), but I think that, yes, CGI would not measure up to puppets, but that the real problem would be the lack of the stars - Bowie and Connelly.

On a whole, if a remake succeeds it is because the original had its storyline as its foundations, and there is therefore a great thing already in place which can be recycled as needs be, but with something like Labyrinth, the thing which made the film what it is, are the actors which participated in it.
I don't know about everyone else, but when I hear the word 'Labyrinth,' in any context, my head is immediately bombarded with প্রতিমূর্তি of David Bowie (in all his transcendent perfection), and the sound of his voice seems to float from the very ground beneath my feet ... but I digress. My point is, that Labyrinth is so incredible because it has Bowie and Connelly, and without them, anything which formerly was in possession of them would seem much dingier and obsolete, as its prime reasons for being would be nonexistent.
If there were to be a remake of The Sound of Music, would it ever be able to speak to people অথবা be welcomed into their hearts as readily as the original? No! Why? Julie Andrews. That's why. Nothing can compare to perfection, and Bowie is - irrefutably - just that (and Connelly aint to bad either).
There is nobody whose personality is so small as to not own the প্রদর্শনী themselves, and yet whose personality is big enough to carry the Bowie legend! A little-known actor could never provide the substance of Bowie, and a well-known one could never tone themselves down enough to not own the show. Honestly - if, for instance, someone made a very poor choice and cast the lovely Depp as Jareth, do we really want the success of the remake to be carried দ্বারা screaming fangirls who have no idea of the complexities of the film past noticing all the whorls and nuances of Johnny Depp's fingernails?!?! I think not. And it is obvious that no unsubstantiated, ego-less speck could carry the wight of Jareth on their shoulders without collapsing.

And as to the apparent 'given' that burton should be the director, I say: cease your drivel. burton + Labyrinth = Washed out grey and white landscapes (and characters), and a quirk set in entirely the wrong direction.
Just because Labyrinth is 'different' and Burton's films are 'different,' doesn't mean that they are the same breed of 'different' at all. Labyrinth should never be Burton-ized. End of story.

Basically, Bowie is to great of a predecessor for any rookie from today's world (or the world of yesteryear, অথবা that to come) to take on, and any attempt to forget the Bowie aspect and focus on the pure Labyrinth aspect would leave me with a very pronounced and not to be underestimated SENSE OF DOUBT (:D Bowie song reference :D)

One of the things that made it so fantastic was the puppetry (and the awesomeness that is Jim Henson). And, well... We all know, if they re-made it, they would just use CGI instead of puppets (as for Jim Henson, R.I.P. D;).

'Sides, no one would be able to measure up to Connelly and Bowie. ...And re-makes rarely ever come out well. o.e

Leave it as it is......but on the off chance they ever did.....

I think I can agree with আপনি on Jared Leto for Jareth. আপনি have to have someone who can sing and someone who can act and he is both(plus he is hot and can pull off the mysterious dangerous Goblin King) অথবা maybe even Ville Valo from HIM. He can sing I don't know how well he can act though.

As for Sarah I think Zooey Deschanel. She is odd and quirky and would make a good Sarah.

And of course Tim burton would have to direct. Who else.

I tried to come up with somebody for Jareth, but I failed. I don't think I would be able to watch anybody but Bowie in that role. As for Sarah, I would maybe, but just maybe, see Madeline Zima, but it'd be weird as well.

If Hollywood would ever dare remake this movie then the cast I think would work out is Christofer Walken for Jareth (when he was younger) and Winoda Rider for Sara and it would half to be directed দ্বারা Tim Burton... best combo I can think of@.@'

My answer would probably be a combination of উত্তর that have already been given. First, I agree that remaking this would probably not be the best idea.
If they did however, I actually like the idea of Johnny Depp as Jared. I mean he is talented as well as hot, and he has no problem going for the androgenous look. Also, I just wanted to mention that I saw this movie when I was so young, and I still knew that Bowie was hot.
As for Sarah, I like the idea of Chloe Moretz অথবা Zooey Daschenel (sorry if I spelled her name wrong). Now, because of the age difference of those নায়িকা they woul obviously have to take a different approach based on which one they chose, but I like them both.

The only person I feel has everything it takes to play Jareth would be Gackt. He's got visual kei history in respect to David Bowie's glam rock and visual pop past. Plus, Gackt has experience in Japanese and American film acting. As for Sarah, you're just going to have to find some fifteen বছর old girl who is a talented actress.

Although no one could ever replace Bowie as Jareth, I would প্রণয় to see them remake this movie for the shere fact of making it bigger and better and being able to follow it with a sequel.
But who?? I think Jackson Rathbone would definately be a very sexy Jareth, but in terms of অভিনয় and pulling off a great villain: I প্রণয় Jason Isaacs. His work as Captain Hook, Lucious Malfoy and various others speaks for itself. The only issue is that he is a little older than Bowie was in the original. If Tim burton does this remake I have no doubt in my mind that he will probably use Johnny Depp as his Jareth.

I প্রণয় labyrinth and David Bowie so I wouldn't exactly care for a remake. But I think Adam Lambet would be perfect for the role of Jareth. Adam is a great singer and actor. Adam grew up গান গাওয়া and was always involved in theater. Adam also has been compared to David Bowie many times. Adamalso has a perfect voice for all of the wonderful সঙ্গীত in The Labyrinth. Adam can also pull off any unique wardrobe and he looks amazing in make up. His hair is also perfect for this role. Adam loves glitter and hes super good looking and very talented!!!!!!!
For Sarah I would choose Lauren Jauregui from Fith Harmony. She has long dark hair and thick eyebrows and she has the perfect shade of green eyes. She would be so perfect for the role of Sarah!!!!!
