The Mortal Instruments অথবা The Infernal Devices?

I have been wanting to read these বই forever, and I decided that I'll read it next. So I'm wondering which series I should read first. I'm not sure if there's an order, because I heard that it's different characters. So which order do আপনি think I should read them?
