sequel’s various plot elements, the most prominent of which being the appearance of an apocalyptic, gray monstrosity that looks a whole lot like Doomsday, the extremely powerful killing machine best known for as the individual responsible for Superman’s “death” in the comics. (Based on the trailer, he’s presumably created by Luthor using a little Zod juice and a lot of trial and error.)

The new trailer also features the most we’ve seen so far of Eisenberg’s giddy, Millennial-billionaire take on the classic, follicly​ challenged villain, along with a final image that gets us halfway to a Justice League, as the two caped heroes put aside their ideological differences and join forces with Wonder Woman to take on the new threat.
