In my opinion, সঙ্গীত is a way of conveying your feelings towards a particular subject. Virtually every song has SOME sort of purpose অথবা meaning to it when আপনি think about it.
Rave songs are meant to make আপনি feel energetic. Speed metal makes আপনি want to do the mile. প্রণয় songs are meant to make আপনি in a romantic mood (or even horny, in some cases. XD) জীবন্ত openings prepare আপনি for an adventure
When I think of what সঙ্গীত means to me, what first comes to mind is the way it has helped me with my anxiety, whether that’s directly (calming down/relaxing/energizing দ্বারা listening to music) অথবা indirectly (motivating me to do something with my প্রণয় of সঙ্গীত as a way of bettering myself). Coincidentally, that’s what led me to this site as well as a few more; I feel the need to somehow connect with others that enjoy the same সঙ্গীত as me.
সঙ্গীত for me, ideally, is an escape and provides a sense of fellowship.
