Why do people like Discord so much?

I feel like I'm the only one who can't stand him even if he is "reformed." Aside from his unique appearance, I really can't find anything to like about him. I kinda wish that if I should like him, then there should be an episode where we see his backstory that gives us an insight on how and why he became who he is. It's just that as of now, all he seems to be is a pointless, selfish, arrogant screwball who doesn't bother to give the mane 6 (except Fluttershy) any reason to like him and has the gall to not understand why they don't like অথবা trust him. I'm sorry for my outburst cause I know the brony community centers on kindness to everyone but I just don't understand the appeal. I know a lot of people ship him and Fluttershy but me personally, I always shipped her with either Big Mac অথবা Bulk Biceps.
