We are Liam, Harry, Louis and Niall – NOT One Direction

So we’ve all been speculating, no matter how reluctantly, just what would happen if Zayn Malik was to leave One Direction. Well, judging by the band’s first shoe as a four during their On The Road Again world tour, we finally have our answer – One Direction would be no more, figuratively speaking anyway.

Last night, the group refused to call themselves One Direction without the entire wolf-pack in action, referring to themselves individually instead, which you’ve got to admit is pretty darn cute. During their show in Manila, the Philippines, Directioners lucky enough to catch the boys belting out their biggest hits spilled a whole lot of love for the group on Twitter gushing over the gang’s adorable display of friendship.

Onlookers revealed hundreds of fans paid tribute to Zayn with paper masks of his face while chanting his name over and over again throughout the show. Fellow Directioners worldwide were so impressed with the chart-topper’s Pilipino fan’s efforts that the hashtag #NOCHILLPHILIPPINES began trending worldwide on Twitter.

Perhaps the band’s moodiest member, Zayn sensationally abandoned the Asian leg of the band’s millionth world tour, with doctors signing the boy band star off with “stress”. Zayn’s now arrived back in the UK where he may have some explaining to do…

The internet blew up this week when photographs of the cheeky pop star looking slightly too comfortable with a mystery female popped up. Cheating allegations followed, obviously, and now it’s believed the singer is back on home turf and a desperate attempt to prove fiancé, Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards, that there was absolutely nothing to the suggestive snaps, whatsoever.

Let’s just hope Zayn regroups with his boys so we can start calling One Direction, One Direction again. According to People, 1D are just as concerned over their pal’s future with the band as their fans are. “The rest of the guys are really worried about him but disappointed he’s not there,” their insider reveals. “Their main concern is they want him to get better. They don’t want him to quit. Louis Tomlinson is the closest to him and is the most worried.”

Badn mate Payne lightly touched on the incident with a simple “What a day” tweet soon after news of Zayn’s departure broke. Later he posted an Instagram video of Niall vamping up his Irish accent until it just didn’t make any sense with the caption: “This should lighten the mood”.
