This is getting ridiculous. There is absolutely no need for this show to have 8 seasons LMAO. I love it as much as the next guy (atleast the old version)... but 8 seasons is getting a little excessive. Who am I kidding, with the quality of the show these days, 8 seasons is WAY excessive

Okay. I'm sorry, but this is the worst mistake the show has made since writing off 2 of the core 5 characters.

Like everyone, I would love to see the Brulian wedding... but at what cost? Having to sit through another whole new season of this crapfest, that the show has become? The show, the writing, the storylines, and the characters just keep getting worse and worse. I really tried to have an open mind at the beginning of this season, about the show moving forward past season 6. And I gave Mark an entire season to prove me wrong, about the lowering quality of the show. But he didn't. With each episode of season 7, he just continued to prove my point, time and time again.

The magic is gone. The logic is gone. The heart is gone. The amazing life lessons are gone. The deep conversations, and relationships between characters are gone. The relatability for viewers is gone. The purpose is gone. The NEED for this show is gone. Period.

All that remains in Mark's mind now when writing episodes these days, is how he can fill an hour of air time every Monday. That's it. It's like that's ALL he's determined to do... fill air time... with... something. Whether that be 5 minutes worth of Nathan and Jamie playing rock band, 10 minutes worth of half naked girls, 15 minutes worth of Grubbs and Miranda, 20 minutes worth of new random relationship drama between secondary characters that nobody cares about, 30 minutes worth of more psycho stalker drama, or (this just in!) exiciting, random ass season finales with 2 secondary characters getting shot. As long as air time is filled... that's all that matters. Who cares if it serves any purpose, or makes any sense, right?

And I don't want to hear any of this crap like "if you don't like it, don't watch it!" or "you're not a true, loyal One Tree Hill fan", JUST because I don't like the quality of the show now, and don't want another season. Because I AM a loyal OTH fan. Which is why i'm sticking with watching it, whether I like it or not. And it's because I'm a fan, that I don't want to see the show's quality continue to spiral downward. Not to mention that I've put in six seasons of watching (and loving) this show, so I feel like I atleast owe it to myself to see how it all comes to an end. But that doesn't mean I have to like every episode along the way. Six seasons of me loving this show vs. two seasons of me not liking it, does not mean I'm not a true fan. It's because of my loyalty to the show that I continue to sit through it, despite how crappy it has become.

So, no. I'm not happy about a season 8. I'm excited about Brulian, yes. But a whole new season? Not at all.

This is awesome, i am so happy it is still going. even through i have to wait for it to come on to dvd i don't mind at all!

okay i agree with kellyerin87 to some point i mean yeah the Quinn half naked part was crap , Miranda Grubbs another crap and i want to say cliffhanger was CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP with capital letters I mean yeah we all wished a cliff hanger , but this ? it is just crap and the episodes were poorer and poorer the season can't even be compared to the first 4 , 5 was kinda poor but 6 get oth up and now.....down it was i don't know the cliff hanger crap.

I don't care if it's only 12 episodes, I just need something of the Naley baby & Brulian wedding!

yeah i want just to see the Brulian wedding and Haley's baby cause then they will be out of storyline and will add crap in like they did in this season cause they ran out of storyline
