Hayley Williams has revealed the band are in the writing stages after being pressed for an update by a fan on Twitter.

Paramore have been relatively quiet since announcing the departure of bass player and founding member Jeremy Davis.

"We really do believe Paramore can and should continue on​," they said in a statement at the time.

The upcoming record will be their first without Davis and act as the follow-up to 2013\'s

The self-titled album became the band\'s first ever US number one, and featured the singles \'Still Into You\' and \'Ain\'t It Fun\'.
