When researching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs various spin-offs, I found a bizarre short cartoon called Seven Wise Dwarfs which promoted an aspect of the Canadian war effort during the সেকেন্ড World War.


Looking into Pinocchio, I found another spin-off I had no knowledge of - a series of short cartoon's featuring Figaro the cat. I find it odd that ডিজনি decided to take the character of Figaro out of the film and place him in his own series of shorts; particularly as he is suddenly living in 'modern' times and is the pet of Minnie Mouse! But apparently, Figaro was extremely জনপ্রিয় with audiences...

Pinocchio's Daring Adventure, অথবা as it is known in Disneyland Paris, Les Voyages de Pinocchio, has guests enter a ornate, wooden entrance modelled on the buildings seen in the film. After the usual twisty, turny queue, riders climb into carts not dissimilar to those on the Snow White dark ride. These ones are decorated with প্রতিমূর্তি of Figaro and Cleo.


The riders first enter doors with the legend: Stromboli; Theatre de Marionettes. On the other side we find Pinocchio on stage dancing with two other marionettes. The bright, cheerful theatre is very quickly replaced দ্বারা a dark, forbidding corridor...

A ডিজনি Tale: A poor woodcutter, Geppetto, wishes on a তারকা that his wooden puppet boy could be alive. A blue fairy grants his wish and the puppet, Pinocchio, is প্রদত্ত life. On a series of adventures, he learns about right and wrong on his journey to becoming a real, human boy.



Disney Heroine: There is no real 'heroine' in this story and in fact, the only female characters are the Blue Fairy and Cleo the fish.


Disney Hero: Pinocchio is the 'hero' of the story, in as much as he is the main character. His heroic actions, though, don't really occur until the final act of the film where is saves...

Pinocchio also appears in two other attractions at ডিজনি parks.

Firstly the film has a large presence in Disneyland California's Storybook Land Canal Boats. The beginning of the ride sees boats pass through the mouth of Monstro the তিমি (possibly why this isn't a feature of the dark ride) and then on to see various miniature scenes of ডিজনি films, one of which is Geppetto's village.

I will review Storybook Land Canal Boats - and its Disneyland Paris equivalent - in আরো detail in the future as it is a ride themed around a number of different films rather than being Pinocchio-centric.

Disneyland Paris has it's own version of this Pinocchio-themed restaurant called Au কাষ্ঠনির্মিত কুটীর de la Marionette. The frontage of this restaurant is less elaborate and less expansive than Florida. The carvings and দেওয়াল paintings are near identical.

In the ইউটিউব walkthroughs I watched for researching this attraction I noticed a few আরো details in the Paris version. There is a lovely statuette of Pinocchio up on a দেওয়াল holding a mug and a slice of cake. Behind him is a mural of various ফলমূল and vegetables tumbling from a corncucopia, with Honest John and Gideon hanging at the opposite side reaching...
