Of course! In black and white movies, people showed আরো expression while অভিনয় and the plots surely were আরো interesting than all those boring and repetitive plots there are nowadays.
Yes, of course! Not only does black and white allow আরো interesting and unique cinematography (hello, expressionism!), what with the shadows and the interplay of light and dark, চলচ্চিত্র were just made better back then. Actors had talent instead of just being pretty faces, writers were আরো creative because they had to work around production codes (even though I HATE the Hayes Production Code, it did make the লেখা in চলচ্চিত্র much আরো subtle because the writers had to make everything oblique) and great directors made many great চলচ্চিত্র per year. Yes, there are a lot of really bad B&W movies, just as there are a lot of really bad color movies, but I've always had a soft spot in my হৃদয় for B&W. It's so much আরো mysterious and intriguing than color, just as the night is than the day!
