I guess my Mom was nicer in some ways than my Dad. Mom was a teacher and was আরো used to kids. Dad was in the navy, and came across as being too strict and bossy. Dad was also the one who dealt out the punishments.

In other ways sometimes my Dad was nicer. Dad tried not to pick favourites among us kids. Mom of course favoured the boys.
