What did ফ্যানপপ use to be like?

Yes and No.

We've gotten features and whatnot that have improved the site greatly,

Yet we've also had some newbies...who have ahem, let's say don't understand the point of Fanpop.

So, Yes ফ্যানপপ has changed for the good and for the bad, but I guess that's just how change works.

Well back in the দিন it was still pure,minimal amount of spammers,trolls,perverts,vampires,but come to think of it,a lot of the features available now weren't here before,so it's better in a way and worse in a way.

I guess I'm a senior, I've been here for over a year.

I say it's gotten a lot worse. None of the interesting spots have activity except this one anymore, and it's full of a bunch of ignorant people who have nothing to talk about except hating, Rebecca Black, and hating Rebecca Black.

Excluding the new users, it hasn't changed much. ফ্যানপপ had it's fights, it's mean people, and stayed the same.
But website-wise, yes. There was no wall, no caps, your পদক were shown above your screens, আপনি had a 5-star rating system on pictures...

But the আরো জনপ্রিয় ফ্যানপপ gets, the আরো chance of trolls coming. Then people think its okay to troll. :/

i say both because alot of people come and put আরো pics and other stuff but there are alot of trolls here

I think it's changed for the better. Way back when, there was no wall. Only props. & the স্মারক were nonexistant. Where আপনি normally would see the person's wall, you'd see their picks. & the অনুরাগী & পদক were displayed diffrently. I like it better now.

I've been here 3 yrs and it's definitely gotten worse. There used to be actual rating here (instead of just "fanning") so if something was shit আপনি could give it one star. Plus there was this thing called the "rating cup" which counted how many things you've rated. I miss both greatly. All the new ফ্যানপপ features just bug me and I don't use. I couldn't care less about স্মারক অথবা the দেওয়াল অথবা the popout, for example.

The website has changed alot of its features, though I hate the new look of it.
Many new users have also joined, আরো of the annoying ones, which I highly despise some.

I've been here for three years and yes things have changed. There's আরো chance of interaction between people there was before, and on the one hand thats a good thing but it raises its own problems. There also আরো risk for trolling and spamming. I hadn't had to প্রতিবেদন anybody until just a couple months পূর্বে when the Twilight Spot got spammed. That was the first time. On the other hand I've gotten to interact with a lot of people I wouldn't have normally. In the end, its gonna be balancing act, there are gonna be people who abuse the system, but thats true where ever আপনি go. We can't keep going "Oh, it would be so much better if we could stop people from doing." We're gonna have to step up and start doing the right thing ourselves. Which means reporting what needs to be reported and not making it worse.

It's becoming আরো mature as a social networking site. There are আরো newbies, আরো trolls, আরো respected members, আরো features, it's changing a lot both for the better, and for the worse, but it is all for the sake of the site itself maturing into a larger, আরো used, social networking site.

I've been a member of ফ্যানপপ since february 2007. (my other account was '' GaGaBoi '' and before that '' BritishPeeps '')

ফ্যানপপ was much better back then, probably because there were ALOT less users on the site so there was ALOT less Spam and general stupidity.


Now it's just out of control, with people medal whoring, trollin', trying to out-do each other via the অনুরাগী count, and just generally spamming the shit outta the place. The ফ্যানপপ chat is also a no-go for me as the regular users who attend that chat, are pretty pathetic and actually quite hostile.

Also, the number of members under the required age is also increasing week after week making the place even আরো of a riot.

I remember when this spot only had 2,000 fans, it was so much better then. Now people just continue to spam প্রশ্ন and clog my updates. Ugh -.-

sigh* I honestly feel drained just thinking about it. I wish ফ্যানপপ wasn't as known as it is today and was still sort of like a '' secret society '' like it was back then. Umph...

it used to be black and white হাঃ হাঃ হাঃ jk sorry i just could not help myself lol.
