Downloading সঙ্গীত is NOT safe. I may not know certain things about this but from what i know it;s not legal. It doesn't mean আপনি can;t download it. Everybody does. I've discovered recently a place where u can have the সঙ্গীত u like without downloading it. It;s called BearShare. আপনি gotta download it, make an account and then আপনি can download music. But আপনি can also make a smart move- saving the সঙ্গীত into your library. So আপনি can listen to your playlist anytime আপনি want without doing something wrong.
P.S.: BearShare is also a place where আপনি can meet new people and talk via IM.

Try listentoyoutube.com. আপনি can use it to convert audio from YouTube চলচ্ছবি to MP3s for free. Trust me, it works. I use it ALL THE TIME. And it's legal, as long as আপনি don't convert copyrighted সঙ্গীত চলচ্ছবি (like official সঙ্গীত চলচ্ছবি for certain songs) to MP3s.
Anytime. ^^ A little tip for you: If a conversion doesn't go well (the site will give আপনি an error message if that happens), just refresh the page and try again.
Mediafire is what I normally use. অথবা আপনি can get a program for ইউটিউব so আপনি can download the songs from the videos. That's what I prefer but I forgot the name of the program... :)
go to link and type in the name of the singer/band and the name of the song. It will bring up a lot of different download options. Be careful, some do not work but it's a completely নিরাপদ site ;)
