What is the worst book-to-movie adaptation in your opinion?

'The Outsiders' isn't really a bad movie, but it doesn't live up to the wonderful book at all.

Chronicles of Narnia was atrocious. ._.

The 1st Percy Jackson movie. So many things and characters were missing.
Looks like they are redeeming themselves in the 2nd one though.

Fucking Twilight, good as a book, then the movie ruined everything, I can't read twilight without imagining the lifeless zombie Kristen and the constipated face of Edward.

Gene Wilder's Willy Wonka and the চকোলেট Factory

It was no where near the book and Roald Dahl himself ব্যক্ত he hated it. Tim Burton's version was closer to the book.

The Twilight Saga. I admit I was obsessed with the বই when I first read them. Then the চলচ্চিত্র came out and that obsession with the বই kind of just went away. The চলচ্চিত্র were just awful. Maybe if they had a different cast, the চলচ্চিত্র then would have been better. Who knows.

That Percy Jackson movie that came out in 2010 and The Hunger Games. I'd read all the THG বই before seeing the movie and I expected it to be as epic as the first book was. It wasn't.
I really like the series and hope the 2nd film will be better.

Eragon, the book is awesome but I just didn't like the movie. And I'm not a huge অনুরাগী of the Twilight চলচ্চিত্র either, the বই are okay, but the চলচ্চিত্র were not. I thought the soundtracks were great though.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians was a horrendous book-to-movie adaption. >_>

ALL of them. Every single fucking one. Book-to-movie adaptations are horrible.
Although if I had to pick one it would be Eragon, they fucked that one up pretty bad -.-

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Without a doubt. That movie annoyed me so badly. They got everything wrong.
