What do আপনি think about relying on God?

I see your point, but I would have to disagree with you.
See, I rely on God like I rely on water. I need water to sustain my life. In the same way, I need to rely on God to give me strength to get through life.

I feel the same way. Albeit I am an atheist, I would say that completely relying on a god rather than on oneself অথবা the close বন্ধু and family around আপনি is a display of lack of self confidence অথবা the will to do anything.

well...i rely on God but then, everyone has to work for himself too...

Okay, let me tell আপনি something.

Personally I don't have any religion, but others believe in god and that he's their savior and can protect them. Not everyone has as much strength as others, they need someone to believe in, they need the faith that comes with god. They need to know that they will be watched over, and that they will go to an afterlife.

There is ABSOLUTLY nothing wrong with relying on god অথবা any other religious thing. Because, some people get stressed অথবা they get suicidal, and the only thing that helps them is knowing that god is there, and relys on god to help them.

I mean, personally, I don't rely on god obviously because I don't believe in god. And let me tell আপনি why; but before I do, I swear if I get ONE মতামত shit talking me about my religion I will literally just cuss আপনি out I don't even care anymore. অথবা ONE মতামত saying how I should be Christian, I respected your religion now respect mine.

Some of the people on this site already know how my parents died, one died in a আগুন and the other from cancer because he drank too much. I don't rely on god, because I used to be catholic, but then I just got angry at him. I thought that since I was such a fuck up he didn't care about my family, and that he didn't help them.

Then my sister and little brother died and I just changed religions, and now I rely on myself, I mean it's been working quiet fine so far. I don't see my siblings, I didn't even know my little brother actually died till a মাস later, but my point is, some people don't believe in relying on another being. Some people don't believe in gods and religious practices and others do.

I think it depends on who আপনি are and what আপনি believe in. Personally, I'm agnostic so rely on myself and my family/friends but it's different for every one of us.

To put it the way the Bible does, we are like lambs, and he is the good shepherd who would die for us. He protects us. If a মেষশাবক doesn't follow the shepherd and does his own thing, he won't last for long. That's exactly like what we are. We all live in the world for a lifetime, which isn't long compared to the eternal afterlife. Those who trust and follow God will live forevermore. Those who choose to ignore him will enjoy life for a while, but die an eternal death afterwards, for the rest of all time. So, I think no-one should be forced to rely on God, but all should think on it.

I'm not a Christian. I somewhat rely on Eru, my god, but not when I don't need his help. When I can't do something Eru helps me.

I totally understand your point! I am a christian and i have actually had encounters with God. However, some days i just get so tired and annoyed at God. When আপনি rely on yourself, আপনি eventually relize that আপনি can't handle the situation. Lots of people are constanly trying and trying to change themselves but they just can't. They wake up in the morning and they're like 'today is going to be a great day. I am not going to do anything wrong today!' That is relying on your own strength and it doesn't work. If আপনি rely on God and ask him from your হৃদয় to give আপনি strength he will endure আপনি for the day!

I don't know whether that has helped at all but i hope it did! Also, whatever religion আপনি are and wherever আপনি are at this very second, God knows and he has your life all planned out and he is waiting for you.
