I think what they are saying about আপনি is untrue as it is offensive. আপনি don't just have to be a big অনুরাগী of one thing. আপনি can have multiple things to enjoy, grow into, and love. I'm in প্রণয় with animals, dinosaurs, Anime, and comic book super নায়ক all together, but that doesn't mean I'm judged অথবা treated like I'm unequal to other fans. So, you're problem concerning 1D and 5 সেকেন্ড of Summer is very understanding and I think আপনি can be both a big Directioner and a big অনুরাগী of 5 সেকেন্ড of Summer.

At this point I would just ignore and প্রতিবেদন if it's a constant issue.

I know what the other person is saying might annoy you, but it's not their place to decide who is a অনুরাগী অথবা not, so just ignore it. Some extra উপদেশ I would give is to never stoop down to their level. The mature and calm one is always আরো respected.
