For those of আপনি who enjoy doing art, what kind of materials do আপনি prefer?

I really প্রণয় Sketching. ☺️This is done দ্বারা me a few months ago.

Clay and যেভাবে খুশী shit I find around the house. I like ceramics and sculptures. I feel like that's the medium I'm best with. But I've been trying to draw again.

Most recently I made an incense burner using fake ফুলেরডালি and real মাছ bones. I'll have to add a better pic tomorrow.

Hmmmm, there was this one time I covered one of my bedroom walls with a collage of empty potato chip bags....
Like, literally, every inch of the দেওয়াল was covered with potato chip bags.... It looked pretty damn awesome 😎

My পছন্দ is good old, precisely sharpened HB pencil অথবা charcoal.

Crayons, coloured pencils, and lead pencils. That, and the occasional inking.

I’d have to say I mainly just sketch (pencil) , but I definitely use acrylic primarily to actually create something. I also do pottery.

I enjoy using pretty well anything. I প্রণয় it when I can take something that would have been thrown out and make something beautiful and useful.

For example I enjoy knitting and crocheting - making squares for blankets (or other items) - using up some of the left over yarn from other projects. We have a knitting / crocheting group at our local লাইব্রেরি and people drop off some of their left over yarn.

Making quilts is another example. I used to make some of my clothing, and hated to throw out the left over pieces of fabric.

It is fun to নকশা different items out of scraps.

I প্রণয় almost all kind of art supplies and colours but I feel most comfortable with pastels. Soft pastels, oil pastels অথবা hard pastels অথবা whatever type of pastels আপনি know.
For paints I prefer acrylics. I'm also good with oil paints but I usually avoid them because they are too much work
And in sheets অথবা canvas I prefer Ivory sheets.

Pencils, pens and colour pencils. They come the most naturally to me.

I use pencil, charcoal and colored pencils when I draw. I also use the blender for shading. (This is the drawing of my father who passed away back in July).

When I do traditional art, I have pencils অথবা crayons
