I think Percy is the better character because he does আরো I think personally. Also I guess it's the fact that Percy has defiantly grown on me throughout the pjo and hoo series.
I'm swinging Jason on this one sue me. আপনি know why? Percy is selfless in a very selfish way. That and he kept letting his fantasies of him and Annabeth in New Rome get in the way of the fact Leo is clearly not a traitor. When Percy helps people it feels like he does it because it makes him feel good. Rage as আপনি will, take some solace in the fact I still find Piper detestable but I'm not changing this opinion out of peer pressure.
Percy Jackson all the way. Percy is a selfless, and powerful leader. Percy has defeated countless monsters, a couple of gods, and 2 titans (Kronos and Iapetus) and two giants, with godly help. He's sucessfully completed every quest প্রদত্ত to him (and all without letting it go straight to his head). Don't forget that Percy was offered IMMORTALITY!! Was Jason offered immortality? Let me think about that.. NO! Annabeth also mentions that Jason seems 'too perfect'. Annabeth is a great judge of character, so she's probably right. আপনি know how the saying goes "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is." So just to মোড়ানো this up, Percy Jackson is definitely a better character and hero than Jason Grace.

Pff, he's not selfless, he gets a high of helping people so that's why he does it. We don't know what Jason has defeated অথবা not defeated, apart from a Titan with his bare hands and no curse of invincibility. It has indeed gone to his head, if আপনি think he has the same amount of confidence he had in TLT then you're wrong. Annabeth is Percy's girlfriend, even if she was a great judge of character she's as biased as Piper in this regard. She says this because she's a elitist as a daughter of Athena and doesn't like anyone coming near her in terms of such things. Eat your arguments on a warmed plate আপনি bakana baka.
Well Spikegilfer, I could argue with আপনি for year, decades even, but I will stand firm with my decision of Percy over Jason. Percy helps people because thats the kind of character he is, however if Percy was a completely human New Yorker, then this might be true. Percy has a much better personality than Jason. Percy has a good sense of humor, where as Jason is a bland, humorless, clueless guy. Annabeth and Piper may not be the best examples here but Percy is well respected at Camp Half Blood. Jason even admits that people only respect him because they fear his father, Jupiter.
He has a different personality from Percy, he is a আরো restrained induvidual who can control his emotion's for the better of the group were Percy can not. Jason's humor is আরো dry and less obvious and সামগ্রিক আরো amusing. People still feared Percy at CHB but he was আরো of jokester and they warmed up to him. Jason was Roman and thus আরো serious and surrounded দ্বারা other Romans who saw nothing but his rank he would seem distant.
From a neutral standpoint Percy and Jason are pretty close to evenly matched. From a biased, অনুরাগী prespective Percy has a slight edge. Better sword-Percy. Better hair-Jason. Better girlfriend-Percy. Better ride-Percy. Better dad- i'm not even going to go there. So, yeah Jason's an okay guy., but I'd rather have Percy.
Perfy because he is wwaaaayyyy আরো interesting and he is braver than jason and when he sets his mind to something he can do jason can barely fight

Jason and Percy are at least equal swordsmen. Jason can call down lightning from anywhere, Percy can't generate water without harming himself. Percy is extremely tempermental as seen with his freakout when Leo was controlled দ্বারা the Eidolon. Meanwhile Jason, who's actually প্রথমপাতা was destroyed was calm.
umm... has nobody else thought that this is a bit of a harsh question? both are great characters, but they are so different that its hard to call one a better character than the other. also, they are both selfless, awesome, and some people have it backwards. they think that percy is a better character because we have seen him in আরো books. but that is kind of the reason why we SHOULDN'T be comparing them. we don't know Jason as well as percy, so, we don't know who is a "better character". and also, both are written দ্বারা rick riordan, with means that they are both interesting because rick riordan only writes about awesome characters
Percy DUH! Jason's ok... but Percy will do the right thing even if it means defying a god. Jason would obey the gods and go on thinking that he was wrong.
