I know that on the Season 1 dvd there's a featurette about 'The Ink' done on the show. You'll probably find this on আপনি Tube if আপনি don't have the dvd. Also, try the SOA official page and লিঙ্ক to Kurt Sutter Inc might help. I know that some of the tats are real and some arent....

I think the one on chibs chest is real I saw a pic of him in regular clothes and could get a glimpse of it.
