Who thought Soul Eater Not was weird and who thought it was better than the original?

I didn't quite understand Soul Eater not. I mean I got the plot and everything, but I didn't get why they made it. Firstly the original characters that showed up looked different (Soul, Maka, Kid etc.) and secondly it wasn't a very good story. I didn't like the main characters, I found them too preppy. I wanna know if anyone disagrees with me on this.

To be fair guys I only watched the first four episodes. I didn't like it though.

I really enjoyed Soul Eater Not! People just gotta watch আরো Soul eater Not! and see the fight scenes in this জীবন্ত before judging it.
